In the book business since 1976
Eddie has sold books in Memphis, Tennessee, through the terms of 5 popes, 8 presidents, and 14 managers of the Baltimore Orioles. (Oh, how we miss you, Earl Weaver!) He has a wife, Diana, and two grown daughters, Hannah and Alison, one named after a Woody Allen movie and one named after a song by Elvis Costello. He likes books and bicycles and baseball and basically any pastime that begins with the letter "B." Except banjo playing--he hate banjos.
I tend to think more in the way of favorite authors instead of favorite books. I think it has something to do with "voice." Currently, some of the authors whose books I always eagerly await are: Dave Eggers, Tana French, Hampton Sides, Mary Roach, and Kate Atkinson. I just started reading her— she's really good!
